You can watch the food being made. Food very tasty and it only lasts the average time. Portions are big enough and well filling. The menu is very thin, but the chef understands his job very well.

As a new resident in Idstein, I had a wonderful experience with the Michele Augello Landgasthaus. A little out of the way, this is a great destination for those who appreciate down-to-earth Italian cuisine. The large "beer garden" is particularly inviting in Corona times and is surprisingly full. The service from Michele and others is full of gracious care. And - last but not least - the "Landgasthaus" pizza is really one of the best that I have enjoyed in my long life. So a new destination to come back.

Perfect and quick stop for a meal right next to the highway. We call ahead to let them know what food we'd like and it's ready when we arrive.

What a delicious pizza! And extremely friendly service and relaxed sayings from the boss. You can feel the spirit of the house. Definitely to be recommended!

Best pizza bread. Since I no longer live in Idstein, I have tried some pizza breads. But I compare each with the one from here and can only say: Italian salad, pizza bread with garlic and tomato and combinatione. A must and always 😋

There are so friendly Italian restaurateurs who pamper guests with charm and culinary art and make them regular guests. Different here, no friendly smile, but came shortly after 2 p.m. - after eating 2 main courses and countless coffee, the uncharming question "pay together or separately" without asking if we want anything else - just as a clearer! You don't need that again.

Friendly staff and quick service. There are also times pizzas, which can not be seen in any pizzeria. For a nice evening with friends or family recommended.

An authentic Italian restaurant with real Italian cooks. Michele is the boss and lives in Germany since 48 years but didn't forget how to cook proper Italian food. The chef, Pasquale, is a pasta master. I had a pasta with pumpkin cream and prawns that was a piece of heart. Simply loved it.

Quality Ok, but not very good Italian cuisine. Portions are a bit smaller. Morzarella had been frozen. Can spray on the dessert. Pizza ... Well ....

Unfortunately, the concept of the shop does not go so well with the food. Rustic country house is in my opinion not the optimal atmosphere for pizza and pasta. Service at first very nice and courteous, in the course of the evening this has unfortunately diminished. On various requests was hardly or not at all reacted. Also, a complaint about a dressing "floating" salad was not taken seriously / ignored. Unfortunately I can not recommend the restaurant

We were there again today after a long time. The terrace has become beautiful. Very attentive service, special requests would be fulfilled. Thank you, we will be back. The pizza is very tasty and crispy.
